** The Stats:
Bracelet is made of solid sustainable wood and features a elegant design of roses and pearls. The wood is finished using multiple coats of shellac - many coats! Amazing how long these take to make!

The pearls: 6 freshwater pearl - AAA grade; small 4mm size; round shape; smooth skin; white color; high luster; silver overtones. Flawless.

65mm or about 2 1/2" internal diameter. My hand measures 3.5 inches across my knuckles. I take a 63mm size. From my limited research this is, surprisingly, a small size here in the US. In China the most common size seems to be 60mm. Internal circumference seems to measure 8". External circumference seems to be about 10"

We have taken quite a lot of trouble to make the wooden bangle collection waterproof in case you get caught in the rain or something. But I would not soak any fine jewelry in water. A light rinse and gentle pat dry with a soft cloth should be the only upkeep needed.

**Wood Jewelry:
Has been around for many thousands of years. It has gone in and out of fashion, but always seems to rebound. Typically light weight making it a pleasure to wear. Recently there has been a resurgence of interest in wood as a jewelry material as concerns regarding sustainability have increased. The new trend is termed "Eco Jewelry" or "Eco Fashion".

**Pearl Facts:
I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface area that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips, "burn marks", or any unsightly thing).

Freshwater pearls generally range in size from about 3.0-7.0mm. Alexa is within this range at a small 4mm.

Natural untreated pearl colors range from whitish, through pink, apricot to peach. Some unusual and rare golden, purple, and blue gray to silvered colors are occasionally available. 

Bright white pearls are always bleached. Veera's pearls have been bleached to even out their tones. They are quite well matched.

Other colors are permanently dyed.

It takes an incredible number of hours of labor to make one of these. Therefore I am only making a few. When they are gone - they're gone! Each is individual and unique. I will get them up as I can. Do to the labor intensive nature of these bangles, I will not be taking custom orders on them.

Suitable for both work or play. Stack with brass, bronze or gold bangles. Or wear alone. Veera will carry herself well in either case.
