Keshi pearls grow as volunteers in second harvest pearl sacs. They are 100% nacre from the mother pearl. I.E. they are not implanted. Thus they are as close to wild caught pearls as can be. Wild caught pearls are very, very rare these days as you might imagine.

Grade: AAA grade Tahitian Keshi pearls.

Size: 7mm size. These are smaller than normal for Tahitian pearls. 

Shape: Round shape.

Skin: Smooth skin.

Color: Natural, untreated charcoal color.

Luster: High silky luster.

Overtones: Silver overtones.

Flawless. 

Well matched for general shape, size, color and overtones. Tahitian Keshi pearls are entirely nacre; without nucleation. They are extremely difficult to match close enough to make an earring pair.

**Pearl Facts:
I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).

The color of Trista is natural and untreated, just as her mother oyster made her. The color will shift and move  a bit when you move.
