I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).

Color in freshwater pearls is dictated by the colors produced by the inside of the mother oyster's shell. Natural untreated colors range from whitish, through pink, apricot to peach.
Usha's pearls are just as her mother oyster made her.

Sterling Silver is designated as .925.

Sterling Silver does not contain nickel or lead which is the main reason that plated items may irritate your skin.

Sterling Silver will tarnish over time to a deep blue black. Therefore, I always send along an anti-tarnish tab and a polishing cloth with your order. The tab should be kept with your earrings when they are being stored. It will not prevent tarnish but will inhibit it from forming, and will not harm your pearls. I will also include a pearl safe polishing cloth in your order.
