**Pearl Facts:
I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).

Color in freshwater pearls is dictated by the colors produced by the inside of the mother oyster's shell. Natural untreated colors range from whitish, through pink, apricot to peach. 

Rajani's deep black color is permanently dyed. Tahitian pearls are the only pearl types that approach this color naturally. Tahitian pearls do not run in this small a size.
