Size: 6mm or about 1/4" in diameter; 7mm or about 1/4" across the buttercup setting; 13mm or about 1/2" in overall length. On a US penny coin that length would be the measure from the top of the coin to just under the date line on the right side of the coin.

Shape: Round shape.

Color: Clear natural forest green color.

All the Moldavite in the world was formed about 14,700,000 years ago by a giant meteorite impact in the region of Europe known as Bohemia. It is thus a kind of Tektite. It is made of earth materials as other gemstones are. The means are different. There is not that much of it and it is increasingly hard to get.

Color is generally in the olive green range. Petra is a forest green - like something you would see in the deep woods.

Sterling Silver does not contain nickel or lead which is the main reason that silver plated items may irritate your skin.

Sterling silver will tarnish over time to a deep blue black. To entirely prevent tarnish from forming, Sterling Silver may be Rhodium plated. This also improves the color of the silver. As an added bonus, Rhodium plated sterling silver is very easy to keep clean!

Even though Petra is tarnish resistant, I will include a small anti-tarnish tab which should be kept with your sterling silver ring when you are not wearing it. The tab should last for 2 years. The tab does not prevent tarnish, but it will inhibit tarnish from forming. I will also include a silver and gemstone safe cleaning cloth for your convenience.
