Matcha Latte -

Medium handmade bowl features a flared rim and has a glaze pattern in green and white over marbled red and tan clay. One of a kind. This really can't be done twice. #P2101 FREE SHIPPING WITHIN UNITED STATES.

Handcrafted with love and care my mugs and bowls are unique pieces that truly can't be replicated.

Glaze on glaze decoration on both the interior and exterior.

4 1/2"h X 6 3/4"w X 6 3/4"deep. Tapers to 2 3/4" on the bottom. Flat bottomed, glazed and smooth.

All my bowls are food safe unless otherwise noted. This one is medium sized. Wheel thrown in red and tan marbled stoneware clay. Signed and dated in 1995 which is when I made the blank. I found a few of these that I did not remember I had. I just finished the glazing - 2021. It will come carefully packed and shipped insured. It probably holds about 2 to 2 1/2 cups.

**You may have noticed that I am not a “production potter”. I don't make the same thing over and over again. There is nothing wrong in doing that, it is just not where my interests lay.

I am what is termed a “studio potter”. Among other forms, I enjoy working with bowl forms in their various guises. No two of my pieces are the same, even when working on a similar theme. It can take upwards of a week for me to make one piece. Any given piece may take several visits to the kiln before I get the color development that I want. I tend to treat each object that I make as an individual, rather than a “thing”. I only work with materials that I feel have a “spark” to them, a sort of “life force” element.

If you have any questions about the bowl, the process, or the exhibition history of the piece, please do not hesitate to ask.

Enjoy!
