Color: Natural untreated blue/green. This pearl comes under the heading of "black Tahitian pearl". It is a much rarer, very difficult to find blue/green color. Marla's color is just as her mother oyster made her.

Overtones: with Pistachio overtones

8.5mm or a bit more than 5/16" in diameter pearl

**Pearl Facts:
I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).

Color in Tahitian pearls is dictated by the inside of the mother oyster's shell. The same oyster can produce different colored pearls all at the same time, usually grays to blacks but also whites, greens, purples... Quite a wide range.

**Rhodium plated Traditional Sterling Silver is allergen free and will not tarnish. Nevertheless, I will include a anti-tarnish tab and a pearl safe cleaning cloth in your order to help you to keep your setting bright and shining.
