Kentucky Memory - small ceramic bowl, small pottery bowl, hand made bowl, food safe bowl, small ceramic serving bowl, sgraffito, with added foot and handles.  #P1821   FREE SHIPPING WITHIN UNITED STATES.

5 5/8" X 6 1/4" X 3 3/4"

Engraved sgraffito patterns are loosely based on African textile motifs. Engraving stained with cobalt oxide under food safe milk white glaze.

**All my bowls are food safe unless otherwise noted. Signed and dated.
I would recommend hand washing with all fine hand made ceramic items.

**If you wish to make installment payments please contact me for instructions.

I would call Kentucky Memory top shelf dishwasher safe but happier to be hand washed. The detergents used in dishwashers will etch glass and ceramic objects over time. If you really care about something, hand wash it.

**If you would like to display Kentucky Memory, or any other of my pieces, on a walled surface - but can't figure out how to do that -  I can get a wall mounting for you. The mountings are made of clear acrylic, attach securely to drywall, and must be fitted to the individual piece. When you indicate your interest, I will get a price quote for you. The price depends on the size and shape, but they are not expensive. I do not take any carrying, handling or other fees on mountings. I order them for my customers as a courtesy – convenience only.

**Kentucky Memory will come to you shipped USPS Mail, insured, and carefully packaged. Shipping and insurance are FREE for delivery within the United States.

A signature of someone over the age of 18 may be required upon delivery.

I love to ship internationally and have done so many times. Please check the listed countries to see if I can ship to yours. Shipping to select countries is available and will require additional fees dependent on the specific country. Additional fees such as custom or VAT taxes may be charged and would be payable to the appropriate agency upon delivery. It is the responsibility of the individual to research such fees. I have no way to research them or collect for them.

**You may have noticed that I am not a “production potter”.  I don't make the same thing over and over again. There is nothing wrong in doing that, it is just not where my interests lay.  I am what is termed a “studio potter”. I like bowl forms in their various guises. No two of my pieces are the same, even when working on a similar theme.  It can take upwards of a week for me to make one piece. Any given piece may take several visits to the kiln before I get the color development that I want. I tend to treat each object that I make as an individual, rather than a “thing”. I only work with materials that I feel have a “spark” to them, a sort of “life force” element.

**If you have any questions about the bowl, the process, or the exhibition history of the piece, please do not hesitate to ask.
Enjoy!
