OOAK Pearl and Pink Sapphire Bangle Bracelet: Regal, one of a kind bangle, featuring  one 13mm x 11mm peanut shaped black peacock Freshwater Pearl and one 10mm x10mm bronze peacock Freshwater pearl ; genuine earth mined precious Pink Sapphire gemstones; set on solid easy care square twist 14ga bronze wire; accented with Vintage solid Brass tube and 24kt/sterling silver vermeil beads.

68mm or or about 2 3/4" internal diameter. My hand measures 3.5inches across my knuckles. With my hand held flat, I measure 7" around my knuckle area. I take a 63mm size. 68mm would be a medium to large size.

14ga Bronze wire is a heavier gauge than is normally used. Elspeth should be quite sturdy.

The main elements of this bangle are counter weighted so you should always have something beautiful to look at. The accent beads are free moving.

**Pearl Facts:
I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface area that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips, "burn marks", or any unsightly thing).

Freshwater pearls generally range in size from about 3.0-7.0mm The most common shape in freshwater pearls is oval or button shaped (sixty percent). Thirty-eight percent are Baroque and Semi-baroque. Only two percent of all freshwater pearls are round or near round.

Color in freshwater pearls is dictated by the colors produced by the mother shell. Natural untreated colors range from whitish, through pink, apricot to peach.

Other colors are permanently dyed. Elspeth's colors are permanently dyed. The colors here somewhat resemble Tahitian pearl colors.

The pearl tcolors will change a bit in different lighting conditions and with your movements.

**Vermeil Facts:
The only plating I normally use with any regularity is Rhodium over .925 sterling silver or 14kt white gold.

VERMEIL is pronounced "vehr-MAY," and is solid .925 Sterling Silver which is plated with at least 10kt gold to a thickness of at lease 2.5 microns. These bead are plated by electrolysis in 24kt gold to a thickness of at least 2.5 microns.

They are very durable and strong. 24kt gold by itself is too soft to be useful for jewelry. Solid 22kt gold affords a beautiful rich color, but it is also very soft and not very durable. Also, it is quite expensive.

24kt over sterling silver offers a beautiful color while being very strong. The 2.5 micron thickness offers a durable surface under most circumstances. I am confidant that these will serve well for many years. If the plating wears off you will still have a solid sterling silver surface which will last forever.

Elspeth should require very little care. For your convenience, I will include a pearl safe cleaning cloth with your order.
