Skin Quality: Smooth skin.

Color: Natural untreated charcoal black.

Luster Quality: High luster.

Overtones:  Silver gray overtones.

**Pearl Facts:
I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).

Color in Tahitian pearls is dictated by the inside of the mother oyster's shell. The same oyster can produce different colored pearls all at the same time, usually grays to blacks but also whites, greens, purples... Quite a wide range.

Elizabeth's color is just as her mother oyster made her!
