This new alloy of silver is highly tarnish resistant and should require almost no maintenance. Nevertheless, I will include a small anti-tarnish tab and a silica packet which should be kept with your ring when you are not wearing it. They should last for 2 years. They do not prevent tarnish, but it will inhibit tarnish from forming. Silver must be polished regularly to keep it shining and tarnish free. I will also include a pearl safe cleaning cloth in your order.

Akoya pearls typically display a very gently rippled skin, a quiet glow, and a confident presence. Pearl sizes run from about 2mm to about 11mm, with 6.0-8.5mm being the most commonly available range.

Less than 5% of Akoya pearl output can be considered "high quality" and suitable for jewelry. The colors the oysters produce range from white, through cream and ivory with overtones of rose, silver or cream. A pale gold, blue gray or a type of pale green may be produced much less frequently.

 Devika would make a great  promise ring, engagement ring, wedding ring, statement ring, June birthday or anniversary gift - maybe for the 25th Anniversary. It is a simple, graceful but contemporary style that compliments the pearl very well.
