Size:  10mm size size or about 3/8" in diameter; On a US penny coin that would be the measure from the top of the coin to just below Lincoln's lips.

Shape: Round shape.

Skin Quality: Smooth skin.

Color: RARE Natural untreated peacock pistachio chocolate color, which tends toward purple! The color will change a bit depending on the light source and angle. 

Luster Quality: High luster.

Overtones: Rose overtones.

6.8g or .24 oz in weight. A US penny usually weighs in at .08oz. So just about 3 US pennies in weight.

**Pearl Facts:
I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).

The Tahitian color range is quite wide producing natural untreated colors ranging through various grays, to black, peacocks, and sometimes gold. A variety of overtones effect the body color producing what are termed pistachio, silver, champagne, gold, cherry, or lavender pearls. Please see the photos for some examples.

Sterling Silver does not contain nickel or lead which is the main reason that plated items may irritate your skin.

Sterling silver will tarnish over time to a deep blue black. I will include a small anti-tarnish tab which should be kept with your ring when you are not wearing it. The tab should last for 2 years. It will not harm your pearl. The tab does not prevent tarnish, but it will inhibit tarnish from forming. Use it or not as you choose. I will also include a pearl polishing cloth with your order.
