11 - 11.5mm is about 7/16th inch or just short of 1/2" in diameter.

Half drilled and ready to set with standard sized holes.

The colors are permanently dyed. No oyster produces exactly these colors naturally. Some Tahitians might approach these colors, but not at this price. They would be quite a bit more expensive if I could even find them.
