Pearl Facts: I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips, "burn marks", any unsightly thing). Colette's wonderful color is permanently dyed a dark, yet vibrant black peacock color.

Silver Facts: Argentium® Silver, Continuum® Silver and Sterlium Plus® Silver Sterling Silver are all designated .930 Sterling Silver is designated as .925. Argentium® Silver, Continuum® Silver, and Sterlium Plus® Silver are all names of a new alloy of sterling silver that contains more Germanium (an element atomic #32) than Traditional Sterling Silver. It produces an alloy that is resistant to tarnishing. These silvers are also stronger than sterling silver. Colette should require very little care. Even so, I will include a small anti-tarnish tab which should be kept with your earrings when you are not wearing them. The tab should last for 2 years. The tab does not prevent tarnish, but it will inhibit tarnish from forming. I will also include a silver and pearl safe cleaning cloth for your convenience.
