Leather and Pearl Bracelet:  Strikingly beautiful Kasumi type pearl bracelet on a black leather cord with sterling silver beads and clasp.

Size: Large 12.25mm x 12.25mm x 11.5mm size.

Shape: Near round baroque shape.

Skin: Typical Kasumi type rippled skin.

Color: Natural untreated iridescent gold/pink.

Luster: High gemmy luster.

Overtones: Green. 

Considered flawless. A dancing, gemmy surface.

Pearl size:  12.25mm x 12.25mm x 11.5mm size or about 1/2" x 1/2" x 7/16".
4.9g or .17oz in weight. A US penny most often weighs in at .08oz.
Bracelet Diameter: 2 1/2". This is about a medium size for most women.
Overall Length: 7 3/4".

**Pearl Facts:
I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).

This pearl most closely resembles what are known as Japanese Kasumi pearls, which are still produced in very small quantities in Japan and are exceptionally rare - and expensive. There were only 2 or 3 pearl farms in Japan still producing these pearls. They are freshwater lake pearls cultivated in the upstream areas of Lake Kasumi-ga-Ura, some 40 miles northeast of Tokyo in Japan. 

Freshwater pearls generally range in size from about 3.0-7.0mm. Nucleated and Kasumi type freshwater pearls generally run a bit larger. 12.25mm x 12.25mm x 11.5mm size is still large by any measure.
