Shape: Round to near round shape.

Skin Quality: Smooth skin.

Color: Natural untreated gray aubergine peacock color, sometimes called cherry. The color will change under different lighting sources and strengths.

Luster Quality: High luster.

Overtones: Rose and pistachio overtones

I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).

Color in Tahitian pearls is dictated by the inside of the mother oyster's shell. The same oyster can produce different colored pearls all at the same time, usually grays to blacks but also whites, greens, purples... Quite a wide range.

Camellia's color is just as her mother oyster made her, natural and untreated! The color is rather rare and very distinctive.

**SILVER FACTS:
Traditional Sterling Silver is designated ".925"

Sterling Silver does not contain nickel, copper or lead which is the main reason that plated items may irritate your skin.

This Traditional Sterling Silver ring will require an occasional polish with a pearl safe polishing cloth which I always send along for your convenience. You will also receive an anti-tarnish tab which should be kept with your ring when it is being stored. It will not prevent tarnish but will inhibit it from forming, and will not harm your pearl.
