I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).

Color in freshwater pearls is dictated by the colors produced by the inside of the mother oyster's shell. Natural untreated colors range from whitish, through pink, apricot to peach.

Bente's color is natural, untreated, and without any enhancement; just as her mother oyster made her. 

Her color will change from darker to lighter depending on the type and angle of light, your skin and hair color, and what you are wearing. Please see photos to evaluate that color range.
