The generous bail will allow several options for chains, cords or ribbon hangers up to about 2.5mm wide.

**Pearl Facts:
I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips, "burn marks", any unsightly thing).

Tahitian pearls are grown in the warm salt waters of French Polynesia. 

Their color range is quite wide producing natural untreated colors ranging through silver through various grays, to black, peacocks, and occasionally gold (not to be confused with the South Sea golds). A variety of overtones effect the body color producing what are termed pistachio, silver, champagne, gold, cherry, or lavender pearls. 

Tahitian pearls are in a class by themselves. Rings and a couple of shallow dimples are common and natural. They are not considered flaws. Ringed Tahitian pearls - are called "Circlé " and are sought after for their visual interest and color play. 

Nothing glows quite like a Tahitian. They are quite individualistic. Exact matching is a near impossibility. Most often Tahitians are matched for near size, shape, color, and luster. Luster can range from almost mirror like to soft and silky. 

Poor quality pearls  - of any kind -  are dull and chalky.
