>Skin Quality: Smooth skin.
>Color: Gorgeous black peacock color; no treatment was disclosed by the vendor. Dying Akoyas tends to kill any overtone that may be present. Since this one is quite lively, I do not believe it has been dyed. But I cannot say for sure. While we do our best with the photos, we cannot always convey the full beauty of a pearl.
>Luster Quality: High luster.
>Overtones: Rose and pistachio overtones. 

Ring size: 7 US.
1.8g or .06oz in total weight. A US penny coin most often weighs in at .08oz.

I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available.  AAA  grade pearls  will have  a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing). Alisa's pearl is flawless.

Akoya pearls are saltwater pearls produced in Japan. While some have been produced in China in recent years, the Japanese are still the premiere producers of Akoya pearls. For color and luster no one has been able to match them.

**Shipping and insurance are quoted for delivery within the United States (free shipping in the United States only). Shipping outside of the United States will require a fee due to additional costs that vary per country. I love to ship internationally and have done so many times.
