Grade: AAA grade natural earth mined Emerald gemstone.

Size: 2mm diameter stone; 3.5mm across the setting or a little less than 1/8". Stone is .04ct.

Shape: Round shape.

Color: Beautiful  bright green color, not too yellow, not too blue. Considered the best color.

Cut: Brilliant, Faceted.

Clarity: Clear and Clean.

Surface: Clean, well polished and vitreous.

Finger size 7 1/4 US. Sizing, if needed, is free. Please allow a few days time for the sizing.

Emerald, like Aquamarine, is a beryl. With a Mohs rating of 7.5 - 8.0 and a refractive index of 1.57 - 1.58 it is a very popular and durable stone for all jewelry applications. Most faceted stones are clean, clear and present a vitreous surface. As with most colored gemstones, color is the most important factor in determining an Emerald's value. Generally speaking - the clearer green the color the more expensive the stone. Intensely dark stones are rare. Aisha's color is ideal for an emerald.

The oldest Emeralds come from South Africa and date to 2.97 Billion Years ago.
