Grade: AAA grade rare freshwater pearl.

Size: Larger 8.5mm size or about 3/8" in diameter.

Shape: Perfect round shape.

Skin: Smooth skin.

Color: Rare natural untreated golden taupe color.*

Luster: High luster.

Overtones: Golden overtones. 

Beautiful. Gemmy. Flawless.

*I have been told that the color of the pearl may look somewhat pink on some monitors. A golden taupe is the closest verbal description that I can come up with. No pink involved. I apologize for any confusion. Monitors differ quite a bit in their color rendering.

8.5mm size diameter pearl or about 3/8". On a US penny coin that would be the measure from the top of the coin to about the tip of Lincoln's nose.
1.7g or .06oz in weight. A US penny most often weighs in at .08oz.

US finger size 7.5. Sizing, if needed, is FREE.

**Sterling Silver Facts:
Sterling silver is nickle free and lead free and will not irritate you skin. Sterling silver will tarnish over time. The tarnish may stain your pearl. As a precaution, I will include a small anti-tarnish tab which should be kept with your sterling silver ring when you are not wearing it. The tab should last for 2 years. It will not harm your pearl. The tab does not prevent tarnish, but it will inhibit tarnish from forming. I will also include a polishing cloth. Regular polishing is recommended in order to keep your silver shining.

>PEARL TYPE: Pearl types that would be round enough for this setting would be Freshwater, or sometimes Tahitian, SouthSea or Akoya. Occasionally I can fit a Kasumi freshwater type pearl if it is round enough. Freshwater pearls would be the easiest to source. A great many different colors are available, especially in freshwater pearls. Just let me know what you are interested in.

>RING SIZE: This ring mounting is readily available in ring size 7 US. If you need a different size, I can arrange that for you for an upcharge that varies somewhat according to the size needed. It would take from 2 days to 2 weeks to get the sizing done. It depends on the time of year. The closer to the holidays it gets, the longer it takes.

>METAL TYPE: Currently this setting is available only in sterling silver. If you would like this setting in gold, let me know and I will see what can be done. It could take a couple of weeks to arrange. I could get the setting platted in Rhodium if you would like a white metal setting that would maintain its whiteness and never tarnish.

>COLOR OF PEARL: request a color and I will see what is possible

>PRICE TARGET: a price range is helpful in determining what type of pearl would work for your design.

>IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON USING THIS RING IN A WEDDING SET: wedding bands come in widths from 2mm to 12mm. How wide do you want your band? Do you need a matching band for the groom?
