On a US penny that would be the measure from the top of the coin to the top of the date line on the right side of the coin. Shape: Beautifully well balanced button shape. Skin Quality: Very smooth skin. Color: Rare natural untreated misty dawn color. Luster Quality: Very high gemmy luster. Overtones: Light purple, silver, and light green overtones. 3.4g or .12oz in weight. On average, a US penny weighs .08oz. So, this would weigh about 1 1/2 pennies.

Pearl Facts I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).
