**The Stats:
Grade: AAA grade freshwater pearls. The best of the best.

Size: 12mm x 9.5mm or nearly 1/2" x 3/8" in size; 26mm or about 1" in overall length.

Shape: nice even drop shape.

Skin Quality: smooth skin. 

Color: natural, untreated pastel blush color; the color will appear more toward white or more toward rose depending on the type, direction and intensity of the light.

Luster Quality: high gemmy luster. Almost mirror like.

Overtones: silvered rose overtones.

Hanae's pearls are well matched for size, color, general shape, rise of arc, luster, and overtones. Gemmy. Flawless.

2.7g or .10oz in weight per earring. A US penny most often weighs in at .08oz. So Hanae weighs a bit more than a US penny.

**Pearl Facts:
I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearl will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).

Color in freshwater pearls is dictated by the colors produced by the inside of the mother oyster's shell. Natural untreated colors range from whitish, through pink, apricot to peach. Aruni's spectacular color and character is just as her mother oyster made her.

**Silver Facts: 
The newer tarnish resistant silvers: Argentium® Silver, Continuum® Silver and Sterlium Plus® Silver are designated ".930" while traditional Sterling Silver is designated ".925".

Genuine sterling silver will tarnish in time to a deep blue black color. Containing more germanium than traditional alloys, these newer silvers are highly tarnish-resistant.

Even though  Argentium® Silver, Continuum® Silver, or Sterlium Plus® Silver almost never needs much care, I always send along a pearl safe anti-tarnish tab and a polishing cloth with your order. The tab should be kept with your earrings when they are being stored. It will not prevent tarnish but will inhibit it from forming, and will not harm your pearls. The cleaning cloth is also pearl safe.

Sterling Silver, Argentium® Silver, Continuum® Silver, and Sterlium Plus® Silver are all nickel free and lead free and will not irritate you skin.
