**Pearl Facts:
I grade my pearls using an A-AAA grading scale, where AAA is the best quality available. AAA grade pearls will have a surface that is at least 95% free of any defects (dimples, chips," burn marks", any unsightly thing).

Color in freshwater pearls is dictated by the colors produced by the inside of the mother oyster's shell. Natural untreated colors range from whitish, through pink, apricot to peach. Gwen's colors are partially natural and partially gently and permanently dyed.

Argentium® Silver, Continuum® Silver and Sterlium Plus® Silver Sterling Silver are each designated .930

Sterling Silver is designated as .925.

Argentium® Silver, Continuum® Silver, and Sterlium Plus® Silver are all names of a new modern sterling silver alloy, containing 93.5% silver. The traditional sterling alloy (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) is modified by removing some of the copper and adding the metalloid germanium (an element, atomic #32). It produces an alloy that is resistant to tarnishing. These silvers are also stronger than sterling silver.

Gwen should require very little care. Even so, I will include a small anti-tarnish tab which should be kept with your earrings when you are not wearing them. The tab should last for 2 years. The tab does not prevent tarnish, but it will inhibit tarnish from forming. I will also include a silver and pearl safe cleaning cloth for your convenience.
